Love it
This is one of the nicest folders I have ever owned. I've always been a huge fan of the 940, I think it's one of the greatest folding knife designs ever made. That being said, I think I slightly prefer this one to the original. The style was well thought out. The DLC finish matches the dark burnt copper color so well. It's just aesthetically pleasing.. Although I haven't had a chance to put it through the wringer yet, I highly doubt the MagnaCut is going to let me down. The knife just feels perfect in every way. The lockup is nice, the blade was perfectly centered and the grind was not atrocious like some Benchmades that have slipped out of the factory. I'd be willing to bet that this is one of the best Benchmade knives you can buy at the moment.

Great knife
Love the knife. Overall just a great balance of weight, blade length and width. Everything seems optimized to be very functional. Very nice weight and balance. There was zero play in the blade. From the engineering to the qc everything was top notch.

Magnacut 9400
Received my BM 9400 in Magnacut in December. The knife was manufactured in October 2024. Outstanding fit and finish. Very sharp out of the box, and a crisp strong opening with no discernible play in the blade-handle connection. Of the five other 940 series knives, this is up there with the 940 Carbon Fiber with S90V. I like the auto because it has less protrusions and is streamline in the pocket.
