If you want a “non-Chinese made” Slipjoint, ie, Rosecraft, this is a great alternative. I can’t speak on Rosecraft because I don’t own any of their products but genuinely considered on a purchase, still thinking about snagging one. Great half stop and good walk n talk. Not a gator but it’ll bite you if you’re not careful. Hope you love your purchase as much as I do. Fit and finish is good for the money, love the steel option so I can actually use it and not worry about sharpening as often, again for the money. PS, it does cut cardboard and quite well.
