Heirloom Quality
While some may argue about D2 as an heirloom quality material, I view the overall quality, esthetics and utility of this knife as exceptional and worthy of handing down to a son or daughter. It is perfect for camping or picnics. It also is beautiful to look at and hold. It has a heft that feels like quality. The brass inlays are a beautiful accent that contrast nicely against the bright nickle. The scales have a depth that exceeds what you see in lesser bone type scales. The action of each implement is tight and solid. Last of all, the inlaid emblem puts it over the top as a collector's piece. All this for about one hundred dollars makes it a great value.
