Crafted in the tradition of stag knives from the '40s and '50s, these pocket knives are an instant classic. The mirror-polished Tru-Sharp surgical steel blades are honed to a razor's edge, and then the knives are finished over an open flame. The Case Knives Baby Doc always delivers, but only for a limited time! This pint-sized knife was modeled after the full-sized Doctor's Knife ('85SP). The pattern was named by the Case Collectors Club community at the Zippo/Case International Swap Meet in 2004 and was later introduced to the public in January 2005. The knife hearkens back to a time when doctors carried a knife like this in their medicine bags to cut sutures and bandages, crush pills, and mix medicines with liquids while conducting house calls. This folding knife is constructed with Case Tru-Sharp stainless steel, which is a special high-carbon steel that helps the blades hold an edge longer than conventional steel.
