When we asked our most senior associates what was their ‘favorite Case,’ we had to bring back the four that inspired some pretty amazing craftsmanship over the years. With these Case Classics, we honor the men and women who don’t just look at Case as a job, but as a true passion. Each of these four must-have knives feature the black and gold Case Classics logo on the Tru-Sharp surgical steel blade. Each of the 200 pieces created also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and the Case “Long Tail C” Serialization.

Mark remembers his first day at the Russell Boulevard plant—September 20, 1972. Hired at age 18 to haft household and hunting knives, Mark would move on to work on pocket knives at the Owens Way plant. He’d spend several years in apprenticeship to become a Journeyman Maintenance worker and is now a Tool and Die maker. Mark’s favorite Case is the Mini Trapper (’07), and his credo is something we should all live by: “Always be willing to learn something.”
