TThis 5 piece shave set comes with a pure badger brush, chrome MACH3 Razor and Colonel Conk 2.25 oz. natural shave soap. The marble bowl, base, and brush handle are referred to as "Fossil" due to the many different fossils found in the metamorphosed limestone. Marble is a non-foliated metamorphic rock composed of recrystallized carbonate minerals, most commonly calcite or dolomite. The bowl, base, and brush handle are hand made and therefore no two sets are exactly alike.

Eye Catching Addition to Counter
When I saw this I knew it would be the perfect addition to the recently renovated master bath and when it arrived I knew I was right. It looked fantastic on the sink counter top and the brush was super soft worked and felt so much better than the old boar bush I had been using. The bowl was perfectly shaped to hold in my hand while I lather up and very easy to keep clean and the same with the base.There was one unfortunate thing that happened on the second time I used it the brush basically fell apart in my hand, it must have been cracked either on shipping or manufacturer defect. Took some pictures sent one email to the Knife Center, follow up phone call and a few day's later a new brush arrived from the manufacturer. Great service from K.C. and from Col Conks and just totally please with the product, have bought a lot from K.C. and used the Colonels products for years and will continue too.

Great Value for a Classic Shaving Set
I bought this as a gift for my son, and it is a really nice set. It's well made from some beautiful stone. I expect it will serve him well for many years, with the shaving brush being to only item that might need replacement at some point. One thing that makes this set particularly nice is that the brush is badger hair rather than boar bristles. I've used both, and the badger is so much softer and makes shaving a pleasure rather than a chore.
