The other pointy ends are extremely pointy and strong, but, surprisingly, the axe blade is very dull, and usually doesn't stick if it hits. I've sharpened it on a grinding wheel, and it's better now, but it's still the weak point. If the whole item were designed with another spike instead of the axe blade, it would be a much more effective toy.So far no major chips to the pain, or bends to the body, despite some pretty aggressive throwing, so it has held up well.
