This Magnetic Bamboo Sheath is designed to fit most Santoku knives up to 7.5". It's made of renewable environmentally friendly bamboo, which naturally resists moisture. There is a vent hole located at the end of the sheath to promote airflow for drying when the knife is wet. The magnets are located along the edge of the sheath. This prevents scratching of the knife blade when the knife is inserted or removed from the sheath. It's important to align the spine of the knife with the magnets to achieve maximum hold.
