FLY0285: Titanium Scales for Spyderco Tenacious

Customize your Tenacious from Spyderco with lightweight titanium scales from Flytanium!

These precision milled scales are a perfect fit to replace the standard G10 scales. The back scale has been milled out for the liner lock relief. Includes pocket clip holes for tip-up, right-hand carry. Flytanium finished these with a stunning stonewash finish that has a slight polish to it. With the custom titanium scales installed, the knife weighs in about 5.24 oz., giving the Tenacious some nice heft. These scales are also perfect for customization. We can't wait for you to get these in your hands, the quality and finish is top tier!

Knife not included. Uses hardware from stock knife.

Installation of the scales requires some basic tools and knowledge. You will need a high-quality Torx bit set to remove the screws and pivots. The pivot can be tough to remove.

Now my favorite knife
I had the same issue as Greekthomas with the blade off-center when in the closed position, and the other con with these scales are they turn your Tenacious into a one position pocket clip, tip up, and I prefer mine tip down. But even with these downsides I love the look, the feel and the added heft of these scales. Along with the SV35VN blade, it makes the Tenacious feel more like a high-end knife. If it wouldn't be for the off-center blade affecting the fit and finish I would have gladly given these scales 5 stars.

It will make the blade off-center
Installed these scales on my Tenacious and severely made the blade go off-center. To the point where it's rubbing the show side. I put the stock scales back on and the blade went back to being centered so i know it wasn't something i missed. Also had a knife 'modder' take a look at it and he couldnt figure out why the scales makes the blade go off center. I personally don't mind it off centered as i love the Tenacious and the titanium scales gives it more heft and more aesthetics.
