FLY1195BG: Tritium Titanium Ball Cage Lock for Spyderco Manix 2 - Black

Flytanium

Oh no, there goes your Manix 2 on the ground. It's pitch black out and you don't have a flashlight. Definitely lost forever, time to buy a new one.

Not so fast! Flytanium teamed up with their friends at Glow Rhino to install tritium in their classic titanium ball cage lock. The soft light of tritium always glows with no need for recharging or swapping batteries and makes locating your knife in tough conditions a breeze.

Features two tritium vials, one on each side.

Because each knife is slightly different, there is a break-in period when you install your new ball cage lock. Spend an afternoon playing with your knife, enjoying your new lock, and you'll be good to go!

Installation of the ball cage lock requires some basic tools and knowledge. You will need a high-quality Torx bit set to remove the screws and pivots. The pivot and lanyard tube can be tough to remove. There are some good informational videos on YouTube if you need more instructions.

Disclaimer: There are many small parts and pieces on the Manix 2. It is NOT easy to take apart. Disassemble at your own risk.

*Please note: Spyderco's Warranty may not cover the disassembly of any knife by any person other than Spyderco's Warranty department.

Hello everyone at knife center! I installed this in my Spyderco manix2 do and wow what a difference. Installation isn't difficult with the right tools and YouTube. I also did the medium spring and ball replacement. Ball cage is much easier to use especially in old hands with arthritis. I would definitely recommend this product. Watch that dang fun away ball! Good Luck, it's not that hard.
