Fox Knives has been manufacturing a part of Bastinelli Creations production lineup for years. Now, the two have collaborated on a design that will answer numerous customer requests. Many people love the Dragotac series for its versatile flat ground Wharncliffe style blade and wildly ergonomic pistol grip style handle. However, lots of them are restricted to the types of knives (i.e. no locking knives) that they can carry. What we have here is a solution to that problem; a non-locking Slim Dragotac dubbed the Piemontes.
The Slim or Compact Dragotac "Piemontes" is a superb do-it-all kind of folder that will replace your tried and tested Svord Peasant Knife. It's ergonomic, slender, utilitarian, feather-light, and tactical—when it has to be. The 3.15" blade is made from N690Co stainless steel with a brushed satin finish. The contoured ziricote wood handle is constructed with barrel spacers for a completely flow-through design and its full-length liners make it quite sturdy. It has excellent fit and finish and the jimped thumb ramp, crowned spine, and Italian leather drop sheath make it an awesome value for your money.
