Note: The brass scales on this knife will patina over time and some oxidation may already have occurred while the knife is in the box. GiantMouse tries to eliminate as much plastic from its packaging as possible and the cotton bags they use instead are not airtight. When brass comes in contact with air, oxidation will happen and patina on the metal surface starts to happen. All in all; if you don't like patina on your brass scales, this may not be the knife for you!
