This custom ISLT 2 integral flipper is one stout, fantastic, and utterly gorgeous flipper. True to the GTC style, the SLT flipper mechanism is something unique you don't see on any other knife than a GTC. It's a spring-loaded tab connected to the blade that launches the blade out superbly fast as it rides on bearings of Gus' own design. The 3.875" drop point blade is made from CTS-XHP/14C28N Damascus that Gus made himself. This blade shape has a lot of belly for slicing and a reinforced tip for stabbing - the best of both worlds. The handle is entirely made from a single piece of intricately milled 5 alloy titanium Damascus better known as timascus, also made by Gus. The knife features a hidden lockbar over-extender protector to ensure years of solid lockup and a pocket clip made from black timascus. This custom ISLT 2 is a full-on presentation piece that would make an excellent user if not designated for safe queen status, handmade in Riolandia, Brazil.
