A strop is the perfect thing for putting the final edge on all your knives and can be integrated into any sharpening system under the sun. It works with any edged tool and especially excels at convex edges and scandi grinds.

The JRE Industries Field Strop is perfect for portability, rolling easily into a compact form secured by shock cord at the end, which can also be used for hanging the strop for storage or while in use. For versatility it can be used as a flexible strop or be placed flat against a surface if you need a more rigid experience. Approximately 20 inches long by 1.5 inches wide, it is large enough for any knife. One side is pre-treated with black (medium-fine) abrasive compound and the other is left as raw leather for final edge finishing.

Hang it up in your workshop, throw it in your pack, or just keep it handy in a toolbox and you will be putting scary-sharp edges on your knives in no time.
