The KA-BAR Backing Plate Attachment System offers an essential, additional carry option for select KA-BAR products, including the 1310 Slabby and the George Cool Name knife series. This simple-to-install backer plate attaches securely to existing sheaths, instantly upgrading your carry flexibility. The system is built for durability, featuring a Celcon frame, a rugged Hypalon retention strap, and an included retaining cord for enhanced security. Proudly made in the USA, this attachment system measures 9 inches long by 2.75 inches wide and weighs just a quarter pound. All necessary fasteners are included for easy installation: Type 2 Cross/Flat Combination Screws (1/4" length) and Threaded Barrel Screws (5/8" length), both with #8-32 UNC threading.
