The Kukrax Tak Axe and Pak Axe are the civilian versions of the Kukrax Fighting Axe Universal Bifurcation System (UBS) which debuted at the NDIA's 2018 Armament Systems Forum. It blends the benefits of a modern tactical tomahawk with the cutting proficiency of the world's best chopper...the Kukri. This puts the cutting edge at an inward angle in relation to a normal axe for more power with less effort. A paracord wrap right at the base of the head allows for nimble work and promotes the multi-use nature of this devastating hand axe.
The Kukrax comes in two flavors: Walnut or Micarta. The walnut handle/leather scabbard permutation is dubbed the Pak Axe and the Micarta scales/Kydex scabbard one the Tak Axe. Both feature the same full-tang heat treated 1075 carbon steel blade wearing a black traction powder coating. It is an incredible design that we think will become an industry favorite in no time, crafted in El Salvador by Condor Knife & Tool.
