It's an upgrade to their popular Ration eating utensil and it offers all the tools of the original Ration, but is 60% larger overall. This oversized Ration comes in bright spring green or bead-blasted stainless steel and the color coating is food-safe, scratch resistant, and easy-clean. Of course, The Ration XL still features the carabiner clip that makes it easy to attach to backpack, briefcase, or purse.

Good tool - Bigger than I thought it would be
I bought this on a whim without fully reading the description. I thought it was a folding for a spoon combo for some reason so I was surprised to find a fixed piece that is actually quite large. However, it’s well constructed and serves its purpose. Next time I’ll read the description more closely. I also liked the bottle opener, which I didn’t realize it would have.

Decent grazing spanners
Great for tins or dixies around camp but a little short for MRE pouches. The fork is a useful addition for turning steaks on a grill and holding securely while slicing.For those seeking a decent spoon to use in the field for MREs, the Vargo titanium long handled racing spoon does the job perfectly. Also available on this site, I believe.
