The Brandywine offers traditional style—but with a Kershaw update. The Brandywine is a classic, three-bladed, slipjoint pocket knife. It features clip point, spey, and Wharncliffe blades in 7CR17MoV stainless steel. Added vanadium in the formula increases strength, wear resistance, and toughness, giving you a blade with a long-lasting edge. For a contemporary look, the handle scales are black G10, shaped and polished to bring out the luster and weave of the material. Kershaw included brass liners and brass rivets for an additional touch of class.

Perfect pocket knife - quality feel
Very comfortable and smooth shape, size, and finish for a pocket knife. Carry this more than any other of my many knives after realizing I don’t usually need a heavy duty knife. The fit and finish is superior for this price category. The blade detents are a good compromise - I would prefer a bit stiffer in the open position (to somewhat compensate for lack of a blade lock). The blade steel isn’t a premium steel but it has been very serviceable and satisfactory for non-abusive daily tasks I’ve used it for.
