Top of the line
Absolutely amazing knife all around with the fit and finish of a custom knife. The Verta lock acts just like a spyderco compression lock only far, far smoother. I own over 50 spyderco compression locks and this is smoother than all of them right out of the box. The blade has absolutely no side to side play yet effortlessly glides open when the lock is held down. It flicks open easily and the lockup also feels very secure with no movement at all. Came extremely sharp out of the box, easily cut circles in paper and will pop hairs off with no effort. The handles might be my favorite part of the whole knife though, they feel just like grabbing onto a metal cantaloupe (don’t know why they labeled it honeydew), it’s very grippy in the hand but not sandpaper like. Pocket clip is good, nothing fancy but it does it’s job well, also comes with a spare wire clip and screw. Have only had this knife a day but it’s easily one of the favorites in my collection.
