You want to find a knife that has the best of both worlds. The L1 – Lanny One is the perfect knife for you. It's got all of the features and benefits of a traditional slipjoint, but with modern materials and design.
This modern/traditional blend offers everything you need in a blade – it's made from Crucible S90V steel, which is renowned for its hardness and stain resistance properties; it has an integral titanium handle milled from 6Al4V titanium, and it comes with FatCarbon marble carbon fiber inlaid intricately weave patterns on the handle.
When designing the L1 – Lanny One, Liong wanted to create a blade that included everything he thought was most important in a knife. First of all, it had to have strong steel – he chose Crucible S90V (which holds an amazing edge and is very stain resistant). Second, it needed to be lightweight – so he chose titanium. Finally, it had to look great and feel even better in the hand – which meant using this beautiful marble carbon fiber inlay.

Great Knife
I have the Purple Haze and I really like it. This is the most expensive knife I have purchased. I am more of a Spyderco guy but the L1 really caught my attention, The knife needs time to break in like most knives. The knife came centered. It is not drop shut like my Subvert (LOL!); the knife has a glassy close. I like it.The only possible "problem" may be the flipper has a small surface area that may challenge 1% of its owners. Once you figure out the optimal finger placement, then the knife fires effortlessly. It is difficult to fail at light-switch opening on the flipper.The clip is one of the better ones I have used. Good ergos. The weight is perfect for the knife. My Micro Evo Typhoon is a great knife, but it is almost too light for its size. I like the L1 and would purchase it again if it was lost. 👍👍👍
