It's got a wonderful, ergonomic feeling in the hand and is a superbly balanced design. The blade shape is excellent - provides plenty of belly for slicing, a well-reinforced tip for stabbing, and a thumb slot opening method in addition to the flipper tab. The hollow ground bevel makes this an excellent slicer and the large slot in the blade drastically reduces the weight. The size is ideal if you prefer a larger, high-end EDC blade that can easily flex into a tactical role as well. The handle is beautifully machined Chad Nichols mokuti with a full mokuti frame lock mechanism overlaid with a Damascus plate. It comes with blue anodized titanium hardware, a glass breaker on the butt end, and an intricately milled mokuti backspacer with a small lanyard hole. The B. Rietveld Nebula Damascus blade has a blued finish to match the handle accents and gives you the option to use the flipper mechanism or blood groove to open the blade.
