Pros: None
Cons: Carry Position
Good Sheath, Except for Closure
I want to start off by saying I like the sheath and it seems like it would hold up to my use as a camp knife and sometimes a "play around in the woods whilst wandering" knife. The big drawback, which brings it from a rating of a 4 to a 2, is the closure. The sheath is designed so that the folding closure hugs the edge of the blade. Once you have sharpened the blade, it slices through the folding closure when you draw the blade, unless you awkwardly hold the closure out of the way while drawing, which puts your fingers close to the blade. After drawing 3-4 times, mine was cut about halfway through, the open end should have been located so that it closed over the back side of the blade.I like the pouches on it, the stone is nothing special, but not too bad, I've used it on other knives with decent results.THis could have been a really nice sheath, if not for the poor design.
