Surpricingly spacious!
I bought this humble product about seven years ago and here I stumble past it once again and to my big surprise, find that it's still unreviewed.I, like many others I presume don't spend a lot of time browsing and comparing tactical toiletry bags, neither do I have a prized collection of such. But I'd still argue that most of us still own a singular toiletry bag in some shape or form and can't deny it fills an important function in our lives. Like a spleen, everyone has one yet we don't talk about it nor pay much of any heed to it. Therefore it's perhaps not surprisng to see this item unreviewed after such a long time after all... Well, may he who is without sin cast the first rock.Like a wife or a lawnmower, if we are to just have one we most certainly want the best (or at least one who lasts about a decade or so), why then would our lone toiletry bag be any different? It was with theese very words in mind that I went about purchasing this product. On with the show:It's overbuilt and sturdy as in theme with my other Maxpedition products. However this bulk does not compromise it's function and like the title suggest it's carry capacity surprised me, this is not only due to the depth of the case itself but the layout and size of the inner compartments. If you stuff it to the maximum capacity it still closes smoothly and one can make use of almost all of it's internal volume even when using the compartments and separaters which speaks great lenghts to it's quality. Some added bonuses include the hanginging system that is most sturdy and offer both a hook and a nylon strap for versitile latching options. Also, it can be hanged even while closed and the construction has no issue supporting it's weight even when filled to the brim, I guess that this somewhat speaks to the "tactical" implication. Moreover It has a discreet (almost hidden when packed) flat compartment that can hold travel documents and such and lastly I particulary like the nylon and plastic mesh compartment that I can detatch and store in my pocket or in another pack for the times I don't foster the necessity of the entire unit.It has lasted me the better part of a decade by now with no signs of wear, it cleans easily and does not particulary take on the smell of detergents or other things one might store in such a vessel.I sincerely recommend it.
