Awkward Handle and Lock
I am a fan of PF. So I was excited to get the Frigate. It just showed up yesterday and I have some notes. The look, blade are good. In my opinion (so take it however you'd like) is that the handle makes no sense. The length end of the blade sits in the bottom part of your hand. It's shape and length does not suit the use of the cross bar lock. In fact it's easier to use just your thumb to do it because it's nearly impossible to use both your thumb and index to pull the crossbar lock. The placement of the wire pocket clip adds to the issue because it prevents your fingers from finding the proper grip. You can find much better knives for $125.00 Aesthetically its nice looking but functions poorly......... Sorry PF, this one needs more work.
