Description
REMR693: 2023 "The One That Got Away" Hawkbill Bullet Knife
Remington
This Remington "The One That Got Away" Hawkbill Bullet follows a long and storied line of Remington Bullet Knives. Hand-crafted by Great Eastern Cutlery in Titusville, Pennsylvania, and finished to the highest of quality standards by trained craftsmen, Remington Bullet Knives have been among the most-collected knives of all time, and this knife continues that long tradition of quality and craftsmanship that can only be found in the finest pocket knives in the world.
The hand-honed blade is made of 440 stainless steel. The liners are made of cartridge brass. The handle is made of jigged bone with a Bullet shield inlay, and all parts are manufactured and assembled in the United States by skilled American craftsmen. An occasional drop of quality lubricating oil in the moving parts of the knife will ensure easier opening and closing, and reduce wear. The blade has been hand-honed at the factory under oil and hand-stropped on leather for a razor's edge. However, it is good practice to refresh the blade occasionally on a sharpening stone or steel.
