Perry McGee is the internationally renowned director of the National Tracking School. With over 40 years in the survival and tracking industry, Perry is passionate about passing his skills on and is the author of numerous books on the subject, in demand with media and magazines, and runs courses and lectures around the world.

The Pathfinder Axe has been designed and built for professionals, outdoorsmen, mountaineers, the fire service, law enforcement agencies, bushcrafters, survivalists and the military.

The axe is 15" (38cm) long and has a black DuPont Teflon coated stainless steel head with perfectly ground edges. The full tang grip is finished with hand crafted Linen Micarta scales for maximum grip in all conditions.

The scabbard is a bespoke Kydex and Cordura design by BLACKHAWK! that holds the axe safely for carrying on a belt and yet allows it to be released quickly when needed without causing any injury to the wearer.

In addition to its superb chopping power, the Pathfinder Axe is a tool that can be used in a multitude of life-threatening situations, for example in conjunction with carabineers and rope to provide secure anchorage for climbing.
