SureFire

The "DFT" stands for dual fuel tactical, and represents the natural evolution of Surefire's best-selling Fury Tactical flashlight into a single-output 1,500* lumen light that can also function as a searchlight. The dual fuel feature means the light can be powered by either two 123A lithium batteries or a single economical 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable battery.

Press or click its tailcap switch for ergonomic, foolproof activation under even the most stressful conditions. Its precision micro-textured reflector shapes a smooth useful beam that is far-reaching, with a bright central area that is also optimized for situational awareness.

The high-strength aerospace aluminum body and tailcap are knurled for a secure grip and Mil-Spec hard anodized for extreme resistance to abrasion and corrosion.

*18650 battery required for 1,500 lumen output, 1.5 hours runtime, and 300 meter beam distance. SF18650A battery and charger kit are not included.

Excellent flashlight, but not for EDC
This has been my companion to my pistol for several months now, replacing a nearly 10yr old 6P. I don't recommend it if you intend or use a flashlight for other non-tactical tasks like me - my pocket light thats always with me is the Olight arkfield pro ultra as I frequently need different output levels each day. For EDC and frequent non-tactical uses, you're better served with a light that has a variety of output settings and other features. This single output is perfect and easy to use/train with as a companion to a weapon. Always the same light output everytime - no guess work or accidentally having the incorrect output selected when the adrenaline is flowing and split seconds matter. The quality is exceptional and you can bet your life on this tool. This is a true gun light. I also have one with a pressure switch on my defense shotgun and AR. If budget allows, I recommend a second rechargeable battery, and always having at least a 12 pack of 123's for worst case scenario and bug-out type scenarios.

HK USp 9 and fury an excellent combo
After going on a routine patrol of the property about 30 ft ahead there was a ruckus, out came the fury (1500) lumen night blade a puma was flushed down from the tree. Then my HK usp 9 quickly came into condition one thankfully the cat was not interested in a 135 grain meal! Thank you surefire and HK!
