Ultra Sharp and Well Made Slip Joint Knife
I bought this knife to add to my extensive slip joint collection because this knife was more modern and different looking that my traditional slip joints and it looks like an upscale modern folder instead of a slip joint. I was also not expecting this SRM knife to be so well made and incredibly sharp but it is. When I've previously viewed SRM knives, they usually looked very cheaply made. This knife blasted away my assumption that SRM knives are not well made. I love the blade steel (14C28N) instead of that cheap stainless steel used on Case knives. This knife also has a very satisfying click when opening and closing it, although the thumb stud can't be used to flick out the blade esp. since this has a blade stop a little over halfway mark when opening the knife. All in all, this is great slip joint to add to my large knife collection and I highly recommend this knife. This slip joint blows Case and Rosecraft slip joints out of the water in terms of blade sharpness and quality control. The pull on this slip joint is a 6 out of 10.
