Hard Arkansas Stone

I have begun using this stone for my final hone on skiving knives I use in my profession. So far i can get an edge that is easy to shave with. Only complaint is not the stone's fault, but i assume shipping, since one corner was broken when I received it.Doesn't hamper stone's use. Also the box it came in is a bonus and is better quality than I would have expected.

Good cheap stone

I use this stone dry and wash it when material gets built up. Previous stones have always worked better dry for me. I sharpen the knives of my whole squadron, so it sees a lot of use. The whetstone itself is quite nice. Big enough for any knife and most hatchets. A little more crumbly than other Arkansas stones I've used but gives just as good an edge without costing a lot. The only resounding downside is the box, which is rubbish. It fits poorly and has no retention whatsoever. Really more of a bench-top dust cover than a box.
