great little stone

A great little stone to use after a fine india. It can bring a sharp finished edge to the cheaper blade steels.

Great General Purpose Finishing Stone

I've been needing a smaller Black Hard Arkansas for sometime. So I bought this one.Puts a very nice honed edge on even the toughest steels 440v,Elmax,S30v and all other types. I then stropped them with 4500 grit to remove the remaining burr. Makes a very good general everyday edge that really cut everything easily. I had actually order the AC15 which comes with oil. But the manufacture changed things and left it out. But one call to KC and they're sending me out a bottle of oil. Thank you Knife Center your prompt and courteous attention in this matter. I would recommend this to anyone as it's a good stone. Also I will be buying again from KC as they're a very good company to deal with.
