Good stone for a beginner

For a beginner this tri-stone is perfect. It is strong and the stones are nice and thick. The block that it rests in is as solid as it appears to be in the picture of it. The only con I have with it is the bottle of honing oil doesn't feel to be of as high of quality as Norton honing oil.

It's easy to use and works great. It even comes with instructions if you've never sharpened a knife before.

Very good and easy to use

This tri-hone kit is very good quality and easy to use. Grit difference between stones is well balanced. Stones are wide and long enough even for large blades. Good value for the money.
