Improved handling, feel, and looks
These scales are perfectly made to drop right onto the AD20.5. The G10 scales provide a more secure and comfortable grip to the knife, due to the finer scale texture and additional 1mm of thickness these scales end up providing. These scales use the knifes' existing screws. Given that the scales are slightly thicker than the stock FRN scales, I added a small amount of blue threadlocker to each screw during reassembly to compensate for slightly less screw thread engagement. I ordered the titanium spacers to go with these scales; I thought the Jade G10 would look odd with a black spacer bar. The Jade G10 and titanium spacers makes the knife look very classy, more gentlemen like vs gas-station knife looks. No offense to the original, but this was an update that needed to happen.
