Easy to Replace

Simple and straight forward to replace once you get the scale off of the frame. I also think it is quicker and easier than replacing an axis lock spring as well. Replacing the stock spring with these springs yielded the same feel and performance as the stock springs, not a upgrade, just a replacement incase you lose the OEM spring in there. These are the same spring as what comes from the factory

Peace of mind

I don't think I will ever need them but I'm glad I got them. For a little money I got a lot of peace of mind as I don't need to worry breaking a spring by fiddling to much with my knife.

Handy springs to have if you own a Demko Shark Lock knife

I always keep these on hand when owning a Demko Shark Lock knife, I like to polish the moving parts with a bit of Simichrome and install Skiff bearings. Unfortunately, the mechanism's spring likes to take off for parts unknown when disassembling the knife, so some spares are a must. Interestingly, this is for my latest 20.5 knife whose fit, finish and action are far superior to the earlier versions I bought when they were first introduced. (The price is the same, but the steel is much better.) Anyway, if you own a Demko Shark Lock 20.5 and are tempted to open it up, you will certainly want to have these springs on hand before you start.
