Superb In Every Way

Excellent craftsmanship, SCARY sharp, super-comfortable grip, beautiful sheath. Slices through material with little or no effort. Fantastic price compared to similar knives produced by the knife world's "big boys". In my opinion, KOA knives are the best value available to the community. I love it.

Outstanding knife and company.

If your in the market for a good, reliable camp knife that is solidly built, can hold it's edge, perfectly balanced, and feels terrific in the hand, look no further.Knives Of Alaska are some of the finest production knives available at ANY price. These knives are made in Texas by the same folks that make DiamondBlade knives. The KOA knives in D2 steel recieve a phenomenal HT/Temper and hold an amazing edge.I've used D2 for over 20 years and KOA knives are probably the best i've used that are made from D2 steel. The Bush Camp knife is perfectly sized,is lightweight, and man does that convex edge cut..Just remember to maintain this blade because it will rust if neglected.I've read reviews where some fans discount the knife because it rusted on them, but that's user error.I've also read reviews from fans that disliked the leather sheath.I've never been a fan of plastic sheaths like Kydex,or Cold Steel's Secure-ex,etc. Give me a nicely done nylon/cordura,or in this case a nicely made leather sheath anyday of the week over those noisy, unforgiving plastic sheaths.Pound for pound this is the best camp knife for the price out there. You will not be disappointed by it's performance.

Classics

I bought this knife for outdoor purpose 10 years ago and I still use it in deep woods. Excellent knife, excellent grip for XL-size man, very comfortable and durable rubber handle. Very wisely hardened and grinded, it's sharp, and holds the edge well. It's very good alternative for a Mora Knives. Not big, not heavy, but cuts through everything you will put in front of it.

Great Knife

I purchased this knife as a carry knife for Elk hunting. It is a fantastic knife. I skinned an 800 pound Bull with it like a hor poker going into butter. The blade is made of high quality steel and manufactured to the same high quality. It fits my hand perfectly and if you think it's only for someone with a big hand you are mistaken. The sheath os also quality leather and comfortable to carry. This knife is worth the extra money. I recommend it!
