Never owned Al Mar knives before this one. I wasn't sure what size I was getting, but this is akin to a gentleman's folder. Small, slim, very light but sturdy. Blade is decent quality and cuts so smoothly. Strongly recommended for anyone curious about this brand that wants to save money.

Slim and sharp
This is one of those knives that you might forget that you have in your pocket. Extremely thin construction. Despite its small size, the ergonomics are great, really feels like my hand is locked in there when I tighten up against that extended flipper tab. Despite how slender it is, it's on bearings, and the action is fantastic. Extremely easy to carry, and feels like its way more capable than its dimensional footprint would indicate. All around very recommendable, especially if thickness or weight is a concern. Kind of reminds me of the Kershaw Chill, except better
