ASP Agent

Highest marks to ASP for the agent baton. The plastic clip, tho, cracked after a few days of bag training. I still give a 5 star review, however, as ASP offered, at no cost, a clip replacement. I also received first class service from Knife Center, rapid shipment and arrival, very pleased, my thanks.

Just Right

I was recently attacked by two pit bulls on a bicycle training ride in the country. I was badly bitten but not pulled down. My biggest fear was that I would be unable to defend myself while on the ground, clipped into the pedals of my bike. I bought the ASP A50 to keep in my jersey pocket to be prepared for that circumstance in the future. It is a piece of quality material that is lightweight and rugged. It fits in my pocket and clips on firmly without extra weight or bulk. I have ridden the same roads in weeks since but have not had dog problems for a test but I feel much more prepared.

Great concealable baton, push-button release is perfect!

Tried several batons and all were collapsed by striking on the ground. This baton is as strong as any, but lighter in weight and collapses at the press of the end cap button. If there was a longer version I'd get that, but at just under 20" it's still good reach.

Great product!

Fits in the back pocket or if you have cargo pants on will easily fit in a leg pocket. Extends easy and is easy to put away. I didn't have any problems with the lock, when I tried to collapse it to test it to see if it would with pressure it held solid.

Big things in little package,I have the other asp in F-26 with the sub cap glass breaker & leverage cap,that one is a monster,this one is discreet & concealable,very functional.I called asp about a scabbard for this model,they said maybe this summer.I didn’t know if I liked the clip till I started to work out with it,it stops the hand from slipping down & it won’t interfere with strikes.All in all a very solid weapon,again asp comes thru as the best.Thank you knifecenter for the fast service,post office dropped it off on Sunday,I was flabbergasted, you guys are the best!

Excellent Ultralight Baton

This is a very easy to carry baton for more formal situations or any time I want to carry something lighter than my full size baton. Though lighter and leaner than a Talon series baton it is very strong for its size. The baton is very easy to deploy quickly from concealment. The retracting button on the base of the baton caps the entire baton base, this prevents any striking with the base of this baton without unlocking it, compared to the recessed button on the Talon series batons that allow for some use of the base as a striking surface. The clip on the baton is a little obtrusive and I would like to see something more in line with what you would find on a clip knife. This baton does come with a humane tip/ rubber safety tip.
