I was expecting a pair of precision German scissors, but these were made in Mexico.

Smaller opening than the original 6" trimmer

We have an old pair of these trimmers, but with the black handles(which you can no longer buy anywhere). We loved the old scissors and the size is perfect, so we wanted to get a new pair. When we got the new pair, we immediately noticed the openings where you put you fingers were a lot smaller. They are small enough to be a little uncomfortable when cutting for a while. Other than that they cut good, like our old ones did many years ago...
