Great for a Beginner
I love this knife. I bought it as my first real butterfly knife, my last two were bought off eBay for $7 each. I’ve had this knife about a week and no noticeable drop in quality. When I first opened it, it was a little stiff, and it worries me, but after some use it worked really well. My only real complaint is the handles feel fragile, they already have dented from some heavy use and dropping, but I’d say that’s only because of my bad skills. As I’ve improved I’ve dropped it much less and learned it’s better to practice above soft surfaces. Anyways, would recommend this knife!

Decent Knife for Flipping Practice
I first ordered this knife to have something cheap to flip. All of the stories you have heard about there being no good balisongs under $100 are absolutely true. The first one I bought broke developed a stress fracture near the top of the safe handle within two weeks. I sent it back for a replacement which was met with no problem at all from knifecenter who sent me out a new one promptly. The second trainer did last a little longer, closer to two months, before fracturing in the exact same spot as the first one. Aside from the fracturing, it was a well balanced trainer. Just realize you are only going to get a few weeks to practice with it.

It's not very good. Not the worst but a total disappointment
I've had it for a few days and didn't like it from the first second. It's not smooth enough to be able to really appreciate and want to flip with. It's really that simple with nothing else needing to be said. It's not enjoyable to handle.

Got the trainer on Wednesday and with 4 days of heavy use it broke. Dropped multiple times on carpet and the final time one of the handles snapped clean off.
