BEAR & SON GUTHOOK SKINNING KNIVE WITH SHEATH
I purchased this knife for my great nephew for his 13th birthday. I had been a long-time customer and collector of Bear & Son folding knives and knew their established reputation for quality, and especially "Quality For The Money". My nephew's interest in my collection of American-made Bear & Son cutlery sparked a desire in him to own his very own Bear & Son knife, especially a skinning knife that he could carry and use when Deer Hunting in our South Georgia woods. We both looked over the large selection of Bear & Son knives offered on KnifeCenter.com, and this particular knife appealed to him and me. I ordered and received the knife promptly, and knew immediately when I opened the package that my nephew would love it, and he did! A beautiful knife and one that will last my nephew many, many years with dependable service.

Great Field Knife
Bought this knife several years ago for hunting and it's performed very well. Solid blade that does an excellent job gutting, skinning and jointing. Have used this on several Whitetail & Axis Deer as well as feral hogs and turkey in Texas. Did very well on tough hog hide. Handle is very comfortable, does not slip when wet and has an excellent tactile feel. Knife is practical for surgeon grip, thumb on spine grip and others. Sheath is heavy duty leather that has held up in well in the field. Overall, its light for detailed work, but heavy enough for the toughest field dressing job. You won't regret getting this knife.
