Pros: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Handle Material, Lock Ease of Use, Lock Type, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Sheath
Cons: Weight
Great Value
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this knife. The fit and finish is top on the line. It feels very premium. The line of separation between the scale materials feels seamless. There are no ruff or sharp edges on the handle and you can get a full four finger grip with no hot spots. The pocket clip has nice tension and works well. The knife has a bit of weight to it and it feels good in the hand. The action is very smooth and the lock up is solid. Zero movement in the blade which is very nice for a cross bar lock. The lock bar gets good purchase on the blade and the spring tension of the lock feels just right. The lock bar studs are a great size and have good grip without being sharp. The blade has a semi-mirror polish and matches the look of the knife very well. The factory edge is good and passes the "paper cut" test with ease. I would like to see a reversible pocket clip given the ambidextrous lock and thumb studs. I would also like to see the liners milled out a bit however solid liners might be better for the bone scales. There is some gimping on the back of the blade but I wish it was a larger patch. It ends at the thumb studs and is a bit small for my thumb. Overall this is a great knife and a fantastic value for being made in USA.
