Pros: Ease of Opening, Blade Material, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
Great quality U.S. made Mid tech at a good price
For a good quality American made Mid tech, I think this knife is very underrated. The milled titanium handle scales offer great ergonomics, really locking the knife into the hand and providing a solid grip.It would've been nice to have a bit of jimping towards the beginning of the spine for the thumb to brace against, however, for this design its not absolutely necessary. The knife deploys very well when flipped, but not the smoothest when it comes to closing. Out of the factory the blade had a shaving sharp edge and there is no blade play in any direction, blade centering is an extremely minute amount to the right but is pretty much in the middle. Overall, I don't think this knife gets enough appreciation out there and it really is a pretty good quality U.S. made Mid Tech at $300. Definitely worth the price.
The knife feels good in the hand and flips well, even better once it is starting to get broken in. The blade is fairly sharp out of the box but could benefit from some additional work. The overall fit and finish is good with rounded corners. The pocket clip is bent titanium and goes in and out of the pocket easily with good retention. All the hardware including the screws are titanium. Only the pivot is stainless steel. A generally pretty good Knife except for initial lock stick and a very strong lockbar tension. The lock stick is pretty much gone after a couple of days working the knife and adding some graphite. The lock bar tension is still somewhat of an issue in that it requires a lot of pressure to slide off of the blade tang (not related to lock stick). The other scale is not relieved such that it is difficult to get a good angle at the lockbar and it is quite stiff as well. My thumb is already quite sore from opening it.
