No blade play

Pocket clip screws are lacking, but everything else worked great. There will be blade play if you try to put in the pivot screw with the blade deployed. Fold the knife up then screw in the pivot screw.

Good Quality, but Make Sure

As a huge fan of the AD 20.5, I’ve played around with multiple custom builds. For this one I used an AD 20.5 clip point in 3V with Grivory scales and changed the following: Berkshire Forge Ti sandblasted scales Berkshire Forge Ti hardware kit Demko Ti Standoffs Skiff bearings Flytanium Ti thumb stud Lynch deep carry Ti clip The Berkshire scales are very nice - they will fit without any issue, and are of good quality. The hardware kit has limitations it seems. 1. The pivot screw works with the Grivory scales, but has enormous slop with the Berkshire Ti scales. It is noted that the pivot is only intended for the Grivory, but I tried it anyway. No Dice, so I had to use the original pivot. 2. The Threaded Inserts, Stop Pin, and Lockbar Pins are good to go…no issues with the Ti scales or Ti standoffs. 3. I am not using the back-spacer because of the standoffs, but it works just fine if you prefer it. 4. The Lanyard Hole Delete “pin” works well - just a compression fit, but it is easy to press in and remove. It looks good too. 5. The Ti body screws work well on the scales. 6. I cannot make the Ti screws work on the stock clip or Lynch clip, even starting them in the clip first (as recommended). They are simply too short to get through the clip and Ti scales. They might be long enough using the Grivory scales, but I haven’t tried. 7. Skiff bearings installed just fine with the Berkshire scales. 8. Flytamium thumb stud went on easily and is very nice; however, it was a royal pain in the butt to remove the original thumb stud. Make sure you use quality tools that won’t strip or scratch the surface when initially removing. So, if you’re going to upgrade and keep the Grivory scales, you should be able to fully utilize this kit, but if you change the scales, you might not be able to use the pivot or Ti screws for the pocket clip. Overall, it’s very nice, and the tolerances are what you’d expect of a high quality product. I really wish that Berkshire would offer a Ti pivot and longer Ti clip screws that were made to work with their Ti scales.

Good titanium alternative to standard hardware.

Not much out there for hardware so I decided to give it a try for the price. All 6 screws are the same length, but the standard pocket clip does fit, unlike what the other review states. You just need to thread the clip side first then the front side and tighten down from there. The lanyard hole delete is friction fit but is a nice optional piece if you can get it to stay in, Overall would buy for the screws, studs, and pivot hardware alone. Adds a nice touch after anodizing.

Most of it works...

Pro - it's ti parts that don't break the bank Con - not all the parts work??? The pivot screw is oddly short but fits and functions. Definitely thread lock or those minimal contacting threads compared to the original like to work loose. Also purchased ti scales and find it odd the pivot pin end has a tiny circular gap in the scales. Seems like they would fit their pin to their scales instead of creating a future crud filler zone. Final dig on pivot is the hex outline on the screw makes six mildly sharp edges. I hit them with a ceramic stone so I wouldn't find out if it would chew my pocket. Agree with other review the screws are all same length giving no extra long for holding the pocket clip. Disagree with the review of screw down clip side first then opposite side. Tried loose fitting both sides and it just feels like it's barely threaded in either side. Just use four ti screws but reuse the longer original steel screws for the clip, which yes is a bust. The rest of the parts fit and function just fine. Bottom line, not sure it was worth the upgrade really. Nifty, but lame they don't seem to want you to use a pocket clip. Maybe if you choose to carry in a leather pocket slip? If so it should still come with two longer screws. So not a bad purchase but also not great. Very meh.

No Clip Screw

The hardware is nice. The pivot screw is different. The only real issue is none of the screws are long enough to attach the pocket clip. You will have to use the original screws for the clip.

Nice but...

All the bits and pieces fit just right with the one glaring exception of any screws for the pocket clip. I don't understand what they mean about get the threads started to make them work when they aren't long enough to even touch threads. I did consider just using the original pair to make the clip work but my own mental block said "all or nothing" so now these are set aside. I may avoid a pocket clip and use a nice leather pocket slip at some point so I won't write it off as money wasted, but it seems like a bold face lie to say you can make the short screws work.

Not perfect

I anodized mine bronze, and they give my AD 20.5 a bejeweled look, which is awesome, but that's where the good ends. I kind of wish they had kept the pivot barrel and screw the same thread as the original. The screw is slightly off center from the recess in the scale, which is kind of disappointing, and none of the screws are long enough to reach through the pocket clip, which is very disappointing. The lanyard plug is a nice touch, but there's nothing really holding it in. I'm afraid it's gonna fall out. I might go back to the original hardware.

Pocket clip screws fail

Pocket clip screws aren't long enough. I know the description says start the screws on the pocket clip first, but they aren't long enough to get the threads started. I'm using the Demko AD20.5 3v titanium version, and eventhough the description clearly says that the body screws will work on all models, they won't seem to work for me. Not sure why they would put this product out here and not have long enough screws.

Blade play

This kit is just about the only option for the old style pivot, unfortunately. I’ve installed and tightened all the way until the blade can barely open, and there’s still a ridiculous amount of blade play. In sum, these parts do not fit to factory, they’re loose, and therefore worthless.
