Practical High-Quality Randall Substitute

I purchased this excellent knife in the mid-1980's, since I couldn't afford a true Randall at the time. I had squirreled it away in the back of a closet and had almost forgot about it until recently. Before I purchase any product, I always do extensive research on the prospective item and I see that I did the same years ago for this knife. The materials, workmanship, fit and finish, and overall design are excellent. Truthfully, I don't see how a real Randall can be any better - just the name and the exorbitant price tag! The price for the BJ7 has really gone up since I bought it - so I feel that I've just discovered that I own a real bargain!

Blackjack 7-1 Stacked Leather

This knife is a beauty based on the infamous Randall. Quality is excellent and shipping was FAST! No reason to ever wait on a Randall. I had decided this would be a user knife to use and abuse without any regard. After getting it in my hand my thinking has quickly changed on that. This knife may well sit in my safe awaiting my only Grandson's 16th birthday, along with one of Mike's MACV-SOG in stacked leather!!

Beautiful Knife

I recently received this knife after a three month wait, but that was worth it. It's a great knife as an outdoors survival blade in the modern Bowie tradition. Its design is attractive to the eye, and it feels good in the hand. I can't fault the workmanship, or how well the blade takes on a razor edge. The leather handle is practical for hard work and comfort in the hand, the hilt is great for preventing any chance of the hand sliding on to the blade. As a working tool it is a design masterpiece, with old fashioned good workmanship, and excellent materials. The sheath is sturdy leather with a secure keep strap. Great buy! An heirloom and made in USA!.
