Superb engineering solution to their fascinating properties. The long blade, which, when closed, hides in the shaft, which in turn comes from the handle looks great.

yes!, it fits in your pocket.. the pocket clip is very useful! ..also came with sheath --it could be used horizontal/vertical side. The LFK isn´t a simple knife!, the extra size allows you to do lots of extra activities! ..Hope someday, benchmade decide to produce it in blue class

Benchmade LFK

This was one of those "once I saw it I had to have one" knife. A great knife as well as it is its own conversation peice when others see it. Too bad Benchmade no longer procudes them!

Epic folder.

Without a doubt the sharpest knife I've ever owned. This is a work of art, absolutely beautiful. The weight and the feel in the hand is great because of that fin design. I've been put off for awhile buying big folders because I worry about the impracticality of the oversized handle but the innovative fin design allows you to have this really long blade without the drawback of a cumbersome handle. So you basically end up with a huge folder that moves like a fixed blade. I was a little put off when I saw Taiwan on the blade but the lock up is fantastic and it opens so smoothly. The pocket clip is a little bulky but the handle has a really nice grip and I just love bowies, by far the best thing to come out of america, it's just the perfect blade design because it can do everything, slash/chop/stab, there's also some nice jimping for some detail work, I'd even give some batoning a go if I didn't love it too much to want to see it put through that. Absolutely love it and as usual fantastic service from knife centre.

very smooth

so smooth it can be flipped open by a snap of the wrist. it is discreet clipped into the thigh pocket of carpenter jeans. it has a good grip with the scales. just as sharp as you'd expect a benchmade to be.

That's not a knife - This is a knife

Very, Very underestimated knife! I had one but with butterfly engraving on edge(LFK 10100). It was with me twice in Afghanistan and for the common place soldiers life was perfect. Before my last mission in Afghanistan it was my usual "pocket" knife. Even one time help me to hold back one who threatened me with take out of pistol. When he saw the size of the blade and that I was prepared to throw the knife, may be calculated that the pistol isn't good way to solve problems. May be he had calculated too that hit with blade or with handle shoud be very harmfull to him. I like to throw diffrent gadgets including knives. Almost my knives are checked up for how they are as throwing knives and this one too. Of course it isn't throwing knife but is good for throwing in haste situations with training of course. The lock is very stable. Blade is good shaped and gives possibility from fine cutting to choping midle size branch. Relatively keeps long time edge when you hard work with it. Easy for sharpening. Opening the blade is very soft and sometime could be dangerous. Handle is of good quality materials and in wet hand holds very good. This knife was in forest with me no one time and despite I had fixed blade (usualy AK 47 clone from Cronidure steel) it was my favourite. When my thirth mission in Afghanistan was in the end I gave it as present to a former, prominent to me officer, who continue his service there as civilian. My pocket knife became Benchmade 710 and Spyderco Police, but somthing inside me is empty. Both knives are perfect but some 3-4 cm are missing to me. Soon I ordered from here new one alas with skull but I'm happy to be again with my lovely LFK 10100, now 13220. I hope the quality will be the same. I'll finish with quotation about this knife from Benchmade site- "That's not a knife - This is a knife".

This is a Great Knife

I really like large knives. I have seen the Steigerwalt 5.2" Benchmade online and in magazines for years, but I had been skeptical of the unuual design. I love this knife. I have old AFCKs, and other very smooth operating one-hand knives. None of my knives operates smoother or quieter than this huge knife. It is a very nice large knife with a large,wide blade. It is so nice and works so smoothly, that I will carry it in the field, but will not use it as thoughtlessly as some of my other knives. I do not understand why this knife and the AFCKs have been dropped from the Benchmade Line.

Great construction. Solid and smooth action. This in one massive knife that feels more like a fixed blade than a folder. No regrets.

an exercise in engineering done right

A big folder with a small handle that does not get into the way? Great idea! This one will make a good big utilitarian knife or a collectible. Because of the mechanism, the opening is a bit stiff. It is like opening two blades at a time with the same thumb stud, because you're folding the tail inside, just like another blade on the opposite end. But I expect it to become smoother as the knife breaks in. Not the best choice for self defense only because of that, but otherwise great! Unfortunately, it comes from Taiwan, but it is still made to Benchmade high standard.

Great knife

This is wonderul if you like truly big folding knives; I do. Blade material is OK, the lock works smoothly, and the knive is surprisingly light. It is not only a joke; it is really decent knife.

Disapointed

The knife is unique with its big blade.It opens very easy even too easy, but once its open it feels like a bowie knife in your hand.The part I am disappointed in is a Benchmade Harley Davidson knife made in Taiwan . I figured all Benchmade knifes were made in the USA. Now that you have Lone wolf knifes keep making them in the USA.
