I purchased this to take along where larger fixed blade knives get in the way. The automatic action wasn't something I needed, but why not - it's fun. The knife is large, but the ergonomics make it really comfortable in hand. The G10 looks good too. Lock-up is vault tight in all directions, the action is strong and quick. The blade is perfectly centered and sharp enough....after a little stropping it was extremely sharp. Also, the sheath is better than most Benchmade gives us. Overall I couldn't be any happier, and KnifeCenter went above and beyond for me with this purchase - A+
The action on this knife is outstanding. It snaps open and remember to hold on to it or it might jump right out of your hand. With a Rockwell hardness of 63 to 65 the blade should withstand the rigors of hard use. The design is very nice and the skeletonized handles reduced the weight. It is a work of art wrapped in a durable tool. I cannot decide if I want to use it or just frame it.
I wanted a larger, automatic knife so I asked for this new Adamas for Father's Day. I use this knife in my EDC rotation. I own a few Benchmade Autos, in S30V, and I find myself babying them because I want them to stay nice. I wanted the new Adamas to be able to use and "abuse." I did some research on the CPM Cruwear steel and after performing my normal, everyday knife tasks I am confident this knife is going to stand the test of time. The price point is a little scary but I am happy I decided on the new Adamas. You won't be disappointed spending a little extra on this knife. If you're on the fence, just go for it. This was also my first purchase from Knife Center. Ordered on Monday morning and the knife was at my house a little less than 48 hours later. Impressed with the service and I'll order again.

Automatic Knife Ordering Agreement
IN COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL STATUTES, KnifeCenter, Inc requests that you read carefully the requirements set forth below, and agree to this prior to your purchase or receipt of any automatic opening knife from our company.
Federal law prohibits shipment of automatic knives across state lines, with the following exceptions:
to civilian or Armed Forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the Federal Government ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of the Federal Government;
an active Armed Forces member or employee acting in the performance of his or her duty;
to supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, the Air National Guard, or militia of a State, Territory or the District of Columbia ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in the connection with the activities of such organization;
to supply or procurement officers or employees of the municipal government of the District of Columbia or the government of an State or Territory, or any county, city or other political subdivision of a State or Territory;
to manufacturers of such knives or bona fide dealers therein in connection with any shipment made pursuant of an order from any person designated in paragraphs 1, 2, 3 and 4.
KnifeCenter, Inc will not sell automatic opening knives to any customer unless such sale or receipt of Product Service return is made in compliance with one or more of the above conditions.
By signing and submitting this form, you (KnifeCenter, Inc Customer/Buyer) hereby recognize and acknowledge that it is your responsibility as the buyer to ascertain and obey all applicable laws
(local, state, federal and international) in regard to the possession or purchase of any item from KnifeCenter, Inc. You further hereby represent and certify that your purchase or ownership of automatic
opening knives from KnifeCenter, Inc meets one or more of the criteria set forth above and agree to use these knives in connection of duties as described above in sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
