never though I would like a slipjoint
I bought this knife so I could have a good college carry knife since this needs 2 hands to open. I am still not a fan of slipjoints but this blade is definitely an exception. I have had issues with them cutting up my fingers when doing what I consider simple tasks. Like cutting up thick cardboard on recycling day, only to pull the blade out in the middle of a cut in an awkward angle and having the blade shut on your fingers. Many bloody bad times. But this knife is different. Due to the half opening you have a significantly harder time cutting yourself. Hell in a little over a week it has saved me 4 times. Also something to note, I am very much use to fixed blades and axis lock knives, hence why I treat my blades harshly. Now onto the bad. Not sure if I got an outlier but the blades on my knife had a lot of burn marks on them. So I had to spend a bit of time getting rid of them. And I am docking off a star for that.
