Lightweight and handsome

I just received this knife and I am so happy with it. I have the black blade version and this knife is a stunner. Much smaller than I expected, which is a plus, because I was looking for something lightweight and discreet. This knife is shaving sharp right out of the box and I don't even need to touch it up. The auto function fires quick and locks up firmly. I love the safety button as well, for the added protection so it does not open by accident. I can't think of anything negative about this knife. Well done once again Benchmade.

I use this knife almost everyday for a multitude of things. I have had it for about one year now and it's still extremely sharp and looks almost brand new exempt for a few scuffs on the clip. I have dropped it multiple times on concert, sand, dirt, and in water and it still functions like new (kept oiled with rem oil) and did little to no cosmetic damage. Worth every penny especially with the warranty from benchmade. Had an issue with the lock when I first bought it and all I did was send it in and it came back sharpened and fixed. By far my favorite knife of all time.

Excellent Knife

I carry this knife every day and I wouldn't change a thing on it. It stays sharp and springs into action immediately. I especially like the handle material, it's strong yet lightweight. You can't go wrong with Benchmade.

Outstanding!!!

Best pocket blade I have ever owned... Extremely thin for an auto... Very light as well. Smartest knife purchase I have ever made.

Excellent first auto

non scary looking auto, love the g10 handles. Opens beautifully. Only problem is the safety is a bit stiff. I've lubed and exercised it a couple hundred times, and it seems to be getting a bit better.

Excellent knife. I have several autos and absolutely love the feel of this knife. It is very well built and lightweight. I actually bought from a different place and paid 230.00 for it and still do not regret my purchase.

Great knife

Razor sharp blade out the box, the blades a bit bigger than it looks, but I wouldn't say that's a bad thing, lightning quick opening with a comfortable handle for every grip, be careful when opening it the first time as it can surprise you with the speed and force, highly recommend.

Counter sink clip bolts already Benchmade!

I love my CLA along with my Microtech LUDT and Protech TR3 they are 3 of the best out the side autos I've ever owned and I've had a bunch. My only complaint with what could potentially be the best EDC auto ever made in the CLA is: Why oh why aren't the clip bolts countersunk/flush fit?! My CLA eats denim for breakfast on deployment and return simply because no thought went into the fact the clip bolts protrude into the swing of the clip. Everytime you deploy a CLA clip bolts snag against pocket hems and will ultimately prematurity wear/ruin them and cause deployment/return clumsiness that is 100% avoidable. I honestly can't figure out why Benchmade hasn't rectified this issue on a knife with the CLA's tenure and pedigree? Dave at Protech figured out this issue years ago and subsequently Protech's top models all have countersunk/flush fit clip bolt heads taking the easy of pull of his knives to the next level, a level Benchmade isn't interested in ascending to apparently. Don't get me wrong I love this knife, it's a top EDC auto, Im just stunned and bummed this is still an issue on what could be the quintessential EDC auto in my opinion.. So close Les.
