Awesome so far...
Read a lot of reviews before purchasing. Lots of people bagging on this knife because of the cost. Agreed, it is pricy, BUT unless you are a collector, how many knives are you really buying ? This knife will last you a lifetime, so buy what you want and don't worry about the extra few bucks amortized over the next 30 years. My philosophy anyway. Takes a minute to get used to the Benchmade setup if you've never used one, then it's perfectly natural. Good size for EDC, sharp, and good action. While I carry this one everyday, I also carry a Spyderco for utility uses so I don't gum up my defense weapon. Haven't had to sharpen it yet, so that will be a test. So far I'd say Magnacut lives up to its rep as a "Supersteel".

Excellent
My first Benchmade as I usually collect higher end knives. This one became my EDC pretty quickly. MagnaCut is an excellent steel. Takes and keeps and edge. I am able to get it razor sharp. Lot of people complain about the price, and it's a little bit high, but hey, you are going to carry this thing every day for the next 20 years, so what's a few dollars plus or minus ?

A great knife.
I am in a wheelchair. The one-hand operation is great for projects around the house and especially when fishing. Some people think so highly of this knife that it’s mandatory to protect it from theft. I’ve had 2 stolen. Great knife!
