Two year review

This is literally my everyday carry. This knife has been used for work, and recreation, and everything in between. I can honestly say that it’s held up to cutting rope, gutting fish, cutting open boxes. The locking mechanism has never failed me. Although a light knife I feel it’s a stout knife and has held up well. There are six guys in my shop. We ALL own this knife. The only thing I’d change is the handle color. I’d prefer an earth tone over blue. There it is. Vic

Great auto!

I carry this edc. Locks open quickly. No failures yet. Hold on, its snappy! I love the look weight and ergonomics. This will be my go to for a long while. Love the s30v and the grivory handle feels great in my hand. Very pleased with this knife.

First Auto

I always wanted an auto but am a lefty and didn’t think that using my left index finger instead of my thumb would work. But l was wrong. I switched the pocket clip, put the casbah down deep in my pocket, made a good pull, hit the button, and the blade snapped out quick and smooth. I have 4 other benchmades, all either manual or spring assisted and the Griptillian and Casbah are my two favorites. Don’t hesitate to get an auto if you are left handed. With a little practice you will be just as quick or quicker on your deployment. Just like anything else, practice make perfect.

Good knife

I've had the knife about a month now and the only real complaint I have is the speed that it opens. It's not a very fast knife like I would expect from benchmade considering what you pay. That being said, that is the only complaint I have if you even want to call it that. I think it's a really good knife and would recommend it

Good knife. A little pricey

Still works great after sitting in melting snow for 3 days. So it's pretty durable in that sense.

ok but not great

i use this knife as an everyday knife. moderate use. has a light weight feel(dont like but i can live with it). My main complaint is that i have been having problems with it not locking after opening. it has almost cut my fingers several times by folding in on them. called BenchMade and i have to go to a certified dealer to return it to them and pick it back up by them...Pain in the butt. They cant just ship it to me do to its a AUTO knife. Opens slower than it should too. I dont think it is worth the money spent on it to have these problems
