Knife has been a great companion. I’ve even used it as a hammer. I may even buy a second one I highly recommend it. For the guy from Arkansas who left the bad review, I would say send it back to benchmade directly as I’m sure they will replace it.

A feeling of inadequacy
My first Benchmade and it’s been returned upon arrival. The aluminum handles felt nice at first as they had some nice grip but I soon realized the grip I had came from the residue of the handle. Bad anodizing? Actuating the lock felt flimsy, like the omega springs weren’t as strong as they should be. Trying to swing the knife open by holding the lock felt downright chintzy. I will admit that the fall-shut closing action was extremely satisfying. I was willing to work with this, clean the knife and order some stronger replacement springs. However, the blade was off center, the edge was unevenly ground on both sides for both the long edge and front edge, and the thing was HORRIBLY dull. As in, would not “bite” into my testing finger and absolutely would NOT cut a piece of paper. To use an overused word, I felt genuinely offended by this level of quality. For 270 buckaroos you would expect a near perfect knife. Not something that is barely sufficient and certainly not something topped by a $15 Ganzo. I hope this is a single item issue. The other Benchmade reviews across the site would suggest otherwise.
